Cakes and cookies are something that is done to create sweetness, joy and happiness. That's why I felt that this quote was the right thing to put here c:

I've been baking a lot these days but this is the only thing that's worth submitting. Especially since it's my first picture here on dA

It's a sponge cake dyed with blue food coloring and then decorated with vanilla butter-cream.
I think that the cake resembles the sea washing up at a shore, and just like that a simple cake can turn into an artwork with a special meaning.
